We are extremely excited about our botanical garden on the Big Island . We invite you to explore the gardens from where you are and we look forward to seeing you when you are on our beautiful island.

Our vision is to educate and create a unique spot for everyone
to enjoy. We offer an environment for plant enthusiast, both professional and amateur, and we offer a bit of paradise for all
to experience!

The garden is located on the west slope of the Kohala mountains on the Kohala coast of Hawaii. This is a unique area of the Big Island. Arid Kohala mountain slopes and intriguing ravines slice through the landscape.

Pua Mau Botanical Garden offers:

• Everblooming plants.
  An expanding collection of continuous flowering plants.
• Original sculptures.
  Placed throughout the garden, you will see incredible
  sculptures found no where else.
• Large lava boulders.
  Exposed red lava rock lines the ravines and in places
  form vertical walls.
• Magic Circle.
  An arrangement of large stones based on the standing stone circles associated with Celtic culture in the British Isles.
  These stones are aligned with compass points and with the movements of the sun at the various solstices and equinoxes.
